Geoff Wilson brings a high level of academic and clinical expertise to Coast Sport, holding both a Bachelor of Human Science (Human Movement) and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Macquarie University. A lifelong multi-sport athlete, Geoff combines advanced clinical training with personal experience in high-level competition to help Central Coast athletes regain confidence and return to peak performance.

Since 2021, Geoff has served as the Primary Physiotherapist for the Central Coast Crusaders Basketball NBL1 teams. His work in the NBL1 environment has made him a local expert in managing the high-speed demands of court sports, focusing on:

  • Acute Ankle Syndesmosis (High Ankle Sprains): Rapid assessment and return-to-play protocols.
  • Knee Stability & ACL Management: Specialised rehabilitation for jumping and pivoting athletes.
  • Shoulder Mechanics: Treatment for overhead athletes and contact-related shoulder trauma.

Geoff isn’t just a clinician; he is an elite mountain biker who has competed at both State and National levels. This “on-the-trail” experience gives him a unique advantage in treating athletes in Mountain Biking, Surfing, and Snow Sports. He understands the specific biomechanics required for:

  • MTB & Cycling Injuries: Managing overuse issues, posture on the bike, and trauma recovery.
  • Snow Sport Rehab: Pre-season conditioning and acute injury management for skiers and snowboarders.
  • Running & Trail Performance: Biomechanical analysis for long-distance and trail runners.

Utilising evidence-based APA Sports Level 1 & 2 training, Geoff is committed to delivering superior outcomes for the Central Coast community. Whether you are a weekend warrior or an NBL1 professional, Geoff provides a strategic, results-oriented pathway to recovery.
