Elleisha completed a Bachelor of Exercise Sport Science at the University of Newcastle sparking a love for biomechanics and strength training. This led to further education through the completion of a Masters in Exercise Physiology, enhancing her understanding of the importance of exercise regardless of age, capability, injuries and disabilities.

Growing up dancing, Elleisha has always had a keen interest in being active, utilising exercise for the physical and psychological benefits. Throughout her Masters, Elleisha worked as an Exercise and Sport Science within a multi disciplinary team specialising in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation. This sparked a specific interest in using strength training to help manage and improve musculoskeletal injuries.

Outside of work, Elleisha enjoys going to the gym, bush walking, paddle boarding, or catching up with friends at the beach.

Areas of Interest/Sports:

Netball, basketball, rugby union, running, water polo, female athletes

Clinical interest:

Shoulder and spinal rehabilitation; female health and well-being
