Maddie Sheppard is an Exercise Physiologist dedicated to the science of lifelong movement. A Central Coast local with a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Maddie combines clinical precision with high-performance coaching to help her patients build physical capacity, regardless of their starting point.

Maddie is one of the region’s leading voices in evidence-based exercise for bone density. She specialises in proactive management for Osteoporosis and Osteopenia, focusing on:

  • Impact Loading & Fracture Prevention: Utilising specific strength protocols to increase bone mineral density and reduce fall risks.
  • Musculoskeletal Rehab: Advanced recovery programs for Knee and Shoulder injuries, bridging the gap from acute pain to full functional strength.

With an ASCA Level 2 accreditation, Maddie possesses advanced expertise in athletic development. She currently leads the Strength and Conditioning programs at Coast Sport for several local sporting pillars, including:

  • Netball & Swimming: Enhancing power and stability for the Coast’s court and aquatic athletes.
  • Basketball & Rugby: Improving agility and injury resilience for field and court-based sports.

Maddie’s clinical scope extends to complex neurological care. She is highly experienced in designing tailored exercise interventions for individuals living with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS), focusing on improving motor function, independence, and overall quality of life.

A former standout in Surf Life Saving, Swimming, and Netball, Maddie understands the local sporting culture from the inside out. When she isn’t in the clinic at Erina or Tuggerah, she remains active through Pilates and high-intensity gym training.
