Laura studied a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University and has been working in private practice treating a variety of sports, orthopaedic and rehabilitation conditions.
Growing up, Laura has played a variety of sports and is currently an avid runner and interested in strength training. This experience allows her to understand the demands of each sport and assist in developing exercise programs during rehabilitation and to achieve optimal level of performance. Laura’s view of treatment is holistic and encompasses a whole-body approach with her passion being to achieve optimal health outcomes and performance.
Laura has developed a keen interest in Women’s Health and women’s sport, undertaking further studies in pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and other pelvic floor complaints along with pregnancy and post-natal management. Her ability to treat internal and external pelvic structures has produced outstanding results for her patients, coupled with education and long-term lifestyle management.
Further study has additionally been completing in Sport’s physiotherapy and she is currently completing a FIFA diploma which assists in her management of the Women’s Mariners Academy Football team where she is the sole physiotherapist.
