Kane Domenici

APOD Accredited Sports Podiatrist

Growing up on the Central Coast, Kane has led an active lifestyle and has always had a keen interest in sports. Playing basketball for most of his life and following many other sports encouraged him to seek a career that incorporates injury management and prevention into a career.

After partially completing Exercise and Sports Science, Kane transitioned to Podiatry where he completed his Bachelor of Podiatry Degree at the University of Newcastle in 2015. After graduating, Kane began his career working in Canberra under a Podiatric Surgeon where he learned how to manage various lower limb pathologies including surgical and non-surgical treatment of painful bunions, hammer toes, ingrown nails, heel pain and fungal nails.

Kane has completed a graduate diploma in sports medicine through Melbourne University which qualifies him as an APOD Accredited Sports Podiatrist as outlined by the Australian Podiatry Association sports accreditation pathway.

After moving back to the coast, Kane gained more experience working in various private practice settings gaining valuable experience in diabetic foot assessment, gait analysis, common lower limb problems associated with children and management of common foot and ankle pathologies. He has a great interest in the management of sports and injury prevention having dealt with various sports injuries himself.

Kane is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and when not working enjoys keeping active by hiking and heading to the beach. Kane always looks to achieve the best outcomes for his patients so they are able to walk out happy and pain-free.
