With a Vision to keep the Central Coast “feeling well, moving well and performing well”, the committed allied health team at Coast Sport are delighted to announce that they are now proud registered providers of NDIS.
There are around 4.3 million Australians who have a disability. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides approximately 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. The NDIS takes a lifetime approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life.
As a registered NDIS provider, Coast Sport can deliver support services to participants of the NDIS. Located in the Mariners Centre of Excellence Building in Tuggerah, Coast Sport is the leader in provision of Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, Sports Nutrition, Clinical Pilates and Massage Therapy services to Central Coast communities.
Joint Director and leading Physiotherapist, Brett Doring explains that his “team of highly qualified and experienced allied health practitioners is pleased to be able to extend their service offering to NDIS participants enabling them achieve a better quality of life”.
“Providing premium quality healthcare services through clinical excellence is what we strive for” states Doring. “Our NDIS covered patients will now be able to gain access to up to date, evidence -based practice which focuses on integrated multidisciplinary patient management for optimal patient outcomes”.
Who is eligible?
By answering some simple questions through a check list, you can then find out if you may be able to apply for the NDIS. These questions are just a guide, the final decision about eligibility is up to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

Coast Sport also offers a fully equipped gymnasium to assist in treatment for patients whilst utilising the latest technologies, techniques and innovations. The team of practitioners collaborate closely with patients preferred health care professionals (GPs, Surgeons) and are conveniently located above Mariners Medical.
