Bradley WoodwardSport: Swimming
Central Coast local swimmer Brad Woodward has been swimming his whole life. Recently returning from a successful stint at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, where he medalled in both the 100m and 200m backstroke, Brad is back in to training and looking forward to the future as a swimmer.
Nicola McDermottSport: High Jump
Central Coast local and 2018 Commonwealth Games Bronze medalist Nicola has been high jumping since she was 7 years old, and never looked back. Having successfully competed in the Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast in front of an ecstatic home crowd, Nicola is currently in Europe commencing her international campaign where she aims to gain as much experience as she can. Her next major international meet will be World University Games and World Championships next year.
Bethany KranendonkSport: Long Jump
Bethany is a Central Coast local who has participated in athletics since a young age. The 17 year old now specialises in long jump, and will be working closely with Coast Sport to help achieve her sporting goals. Her recent achievements include placing 5th at the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships. Beth is hoping to continue to compete at a National level.
Ashley PerneckerSport: Running
Young aspiring Central Coast athlete Ashley Pernecker has been running since she was 8 years old. Ashley currently prefers longer track and cross country events, and has raced at National level, as well as overseas in Canada and Hawaii.
